Useful Things To Bring On Holidays
5 things to pack for your holidays
Sometimes packing for your holidays takes more thought than planning the trip itself! Whether it’s a city break or seaside holiday, here are 5 useful things to bring that you might not have thought of:
Portable phone charger
When you’re out and about, the last thing you want is to have to go back to the hotel to charge. We all know the moment your battery goes; the perfect photo moment will appear. Portable phone charges come in small light sizes meaning it can easily slip into your pocket.
Quick change in your carry on
If you’ve decided to check in your luggage, you should bring a spare pair of underwear and a shirt in your carry-on luggage. At least if your luggage doesn’t turn up, you have an outfit for the next day.
A little snack
A day of travelling can really take it out of you. Often you can be rushing around for hours in a hot climate before you have a chance to stop to eat. Having a chocolate bar (watch out for melting disasters!), protein bar or granola bar can give you that little bit of extra energy needed to keep going.
The mini pharmacy
We all remember mum bringing the kitchen sink on holidays for the ‘just in case’ moments. Take a leaf out of mum’s book when it comes to a first aid kit in your bag including plasters, hand/baby wipes, pain killers, stomach medication, motion sickness tablets etc.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is your best friend on holidays. Regularly applying sun-cream is essential while travelling but mishaps happen. Apply Aloe Vera liberally on sunburnt skin for instant relief.
Don’t forget to check that you have all of your travel documents, and have double checked what’s included in your travel insurance policy.
